These rising stars will not only be celebrated for their musical achievements but will also join us for the vibrant and energetic Ngoma Kurira Color Hike — bringing together adventure, culture, and music in one unforgettable experience.
Meet the Winners of StarBrite Season 12
🏆 Winner – Tinashe Kamunakwenje
Born on 8 August 1998, Tinashe Kamunakwenje is a talented young artist whose musical journey began at the tender age of 11. He first performed at school events such as prize-giving ceremonies at Holy Rosary Primary School (Mvurwi) and later in the choir at Mufakose 4 High School. Crowned the Solo Male Winner of StarBrite Season 12 (2024), Tinashe has already released three singles: Vanopururudza, Ndiri Munhu Wenyama, and Kumhunga Hakuna Ipwa. Despite being an inmate at Harare Central Prison, where he is studying cutting & designing and a pastoral certificate, Tinashe has shown resilience and determination. His vision is to use music to educate and inspire, while also giving back to his community by teaching sewing skills. His story is one of hope, redemption, and unstoppable talent
🥈 1st Runner-Up – Natasha Mubvumbi
At just 28 years old, Natasha has already captured the hearts of many with her soulful voice and captivating songwriting. Hailing from Mutare and now based in Harare, her love for music began at the age of 11. From high school groups to creative projects, Natasha has honed her craft with dedication. Her shining moment came when she auditioned for StarBrite Season 12, where she impressed the judges and fans alike, making it all the way to the finals. Today, she is focused on growing her artistry, working on new projects, and sharing her unique sound with Zimbabwe and beyond.
🥉 2nd Runner-Up – Maurice Peterson
A true all-rounder, Maurice Peterson is a musician, artist, and actor from Queens Park East, Bulawayo. Born on 2 March 1975, Maurice is also a proud father of three. His love for the arts spans across multiple disciplines, with hobbies that include fishing, swimming, and painting. As the 2nd Runner-Up in StarBrite Season 12, Maurice brings experience, creativity, and passion to the stage. His talent and personality make him a beloved figure both in the entertainment industry and his local community.

The Ngoma Kurira Color Hike is more than just a hike — it’s a festival of life, energy, and togetherness.
